The details
Appointments & arrival
- Appointments are required. Please arrive at your scheduled drop-off time.
- Running late? Call us as soon as you can. If there isn’t enough time left to groom safely, we may need to reschedule, and a fee may apply.
Cancellations & no-shows
- Cancel or change with 24+ hours’ notice: no fee.
- Less than 24 hours’ notice, or no-call/no-show: up to 50% of the scheduled service per pet may be charged.
- After repeated missed appointments, we may decline future bookings.
Pick-up & payment
- We’ll contact you when your pet is ready. Please pick up promptly.
- After a 30-minute grace period, a late pick-up fee may apply.
- Payment is due at pick-up unless otherwise agreed. We accept cards and cash.
Pricing
- Prices depend on your pet’s size, coat type and condition, breed, behavior, and the time needed.
- Your final price may differ from the estimate if extra care is needed. We’ll tell you about added charges beforehand whenever possible.
Matting & coat condition
- De-matting takes extra time and may add to the price.
- Severe or tight mats may need to be shaved rather than brushed out, for your pet’s comfort and safety.
- Skin under mats can be irritated or injured in ways we can’t see until the coat is removed. We’re not responsible for pre-existing conditions revealed after mat removal.
Health, fleas & ticks
- Please reschedule if your pet has vomiting, diarrhea, persistent coughing, or other signs of contagious illness.
- If we find fleas or ticks, we may adjust or stop the groom. A flea bath may be required at an extra charge.
- To protect other pets, pets with contagious conditions may be sent home and rescheduled.
Behavior & safety
- Please tell us about any biting, aggression, fear, anxiety, escape attempts, or past grooming incidents.
- We may stop a groom at any time if it becomes unsafe for your pet or our team.
- Owners may be responsible for reasonable costs of significant damage caused by their pet.
Existing conditions & vet care
- Grooming can reveal lumps, wounds, ear problems, or skin issues. We don’t diagnose, but we’ll let you know and may recommend a vet visit.
- Nail trims, ear cleaning, and other services carry normal risks, even with careful handling. Ear cleaning doesn’t replace treatment for infections.
